Our History

Reitsema Packaging was established in Tasmania in 1995 by Bill Reitsema with his legacy continuing onto the next generation of Reitsema sons. Being a family-owned and operated business, we believe in the importance of supporting our customers in achieving the best possible outcomes when it comes to their packaging solutions. Originally a supplier of solely plastic bags, Reitsema Packaging has now evolved into a reliable one stop shop for the industrial packaging needs of a variety of markets. From one warehouse and a single product line, to thousands of stocked items distributed from three locations across the country.

We’re committed to providing packaging solutions that ensure our customers’ products stand out from their competitors.

Our Mission

For the past 25 years, our customers have come to expect high-quality products and outstanding customer service. Which is why they’re central to our business, and we spare no effort in providing them with the highest level of service. Everything around us requires some form of packaging, and our mission is to cater to the infinite packaging requirements of our customers in numerous markets, including food, retail, aquaculture, agriculture and everything in between.

We pride ourselves in providing a range of stock that is limited only by our customers’ imagination—we understand their wants and needs, and we promise to do more than just fulfil them, we’ll exceed them. If there are industrial packaging supplies you can’t find anywhere, we will make it our mission to track them down and stock them for you.

In a fast-paced world, we enable our customers to keep up by offering same-day delivery wherever possible.

Sustainability Statement

We operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner, always looking to develop new ways of reducing the carbon footprint.

Through the innovative use of natural resources, the latest technology and materials, we aim to protect the environment for our future generations.

We’re always on the hunt for the next game changer of the packaging sector.
